X Box card and more

I don’t know where the year is going to and my making is so slow, with family demands and Christmas drawing ever closer, but I like to make things it gives me pleasure and a make me forget about feeling ill for a while, mind you I have to find a balance or I feel even worse, it’s so frustrating.

We went away at October half term too, so I was in a rush to get things done before we went, not knowing how I would be when we got back, which was a good idea as I was knocked out by it and am still trying to recover and haven’t felt like making Christmas stuff.  Well I want to, and have ideas, just not enough time and energy.

Anyway enough of that here are my latest makes,

Card made with stitching pattern from Form-a-Lines and backing paper from Paper Printables
I liked the colours, I find the autumn colours inspiring, but it was more fiddly to stitch that I expected.

Another Autumn inspired make, Owl and leaves from Triplicut and backing paper from Paper printables (as above).  Seed beads stitched onto Owl

Made with a precut card covered in green card, topped with brown card and bow. Labels made with die cuts and stitched with Stitching Cards lettering, but my foggy brain can’t remember which one!

When you get an invite to a Unicorn party, you have to stitch a Unicorn for the birthday girl.  Unicorn pattern from Stitching cards, balloons from Cardbroidery, number from Stitching Cards. Backing paper from my stash.

A personalised order for an 18 year old who loves his X Box.  Template for controller from Birds Cards, buttons stitched using Stitching Cards font.  Backing paper from Card Craft Inspirations and personalisation printed using X Box font.  This is the second card as the first didn’t get the effect I wanted, much happier with second attempt.

Made using pattern from Stitching Cards Geometric collection using black thread, variegated grey thread and white thread.  It was the first of this collection I have stitched and not the best one to start with, but got there in the end.  Pleased with the effect and found complementing backing paper in my stash. Greeting cut with Tattered Lace Die.

I have taken all the stock out of my shop to sell off for charity, it is available this week in Rothwell Baptist Church.  I am hoping to refresh my stock in the New Year, but I am still able to take personalised orders for cards or frames.

I discovered yesterday that my website wasn’t working, I don’t know how long it had been like this, apologies to anyone who had been trying to look at it, it is now sorted out.
