Red Wheelbarrow

This challenge is based on the poem, The Red Wheelbarrow by William Williams (1883 –1963). He was a doctor as well as a poet. The poem was published in 1923.

Although the poem has very few lines, each line builds up an image. There is no punctuation, not even capital letters. I am sure there must be a name for this type of poem, but its a long time since I studied English. At first I was trying to create the whole image, but in the end settled with “a red wheelbarrow.” Though we never do find out what it is that depends on the red wheelbarrow.

The image is a layered cut on a Cricut Joy Extra and the flowers are decorated with acrylic gems, mounted on a green card. The wording is drawn on Cricut Joy Extra.
